More about me:
My interests in UX include Human-Centered Design and Design Thinking as well as Product Design Sprint Facilitation. I am very interested in the intersection of Art and Code. I have previously served as UX Director for both agencies and startups.

For a time I was also an Interactive Director for NPR. I've also spent years as a volunteer teacher / facilitator for the AIGA, AAF Creative Chair, and Creative Director for the Code on the Beach developer conference.

I have won numerous W3 Awards, Davey Awards, Horizon Awards, Pixel Awards, and ADDYs.

Outside of work, I ran a blog and record label called Synconation. I hosted a weekly radio show recorded at the University of North Florida which was also syndicated on NPR affiliate 89.9 WJCT.

I spend my spare time as the bassist for the Los Angeles-based rock band The Black Pine.
