I have a strong foundation in traditional design with a focus on information technology and 19 years of professional experience, serving both as a people manager and an individual contributor. My career has been diverse, spanning start-ups, agencies, cloud providers, public broadcasting, and public archaeology—I believe variety truly is the spice of life. I'm also dedicated to giving back as a volunteer facilitator, mentor, and teacher, most recently speaking to the Industrial Design program at CUNY. On a personal note, I'm a tinkerer, musician, and proud dog dad.

I served as Principal Design Technologist for AWS Prototyping & Cloud Engineering in NYC from 2019 - 2023. I designed and built human-centric prototypes that employ Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotics, Internet of Things, and Spatial Computing. Previously a UX Director for start-ups and digital creative advertising.

Contextual Augmented Reality Interfaces for the Internet of Things
Proof of Concept
Visualizing and manipulating IoT devices in a singular, contextual, spatial interface. I worked with Ramin Firoozye︎︎︎ to craft a UI prototype for what his ARIoT concept would look like in practice. The results of which were  revealed at AWS Reinvent 2019.
