How do we train models to classify non-existent artifacts? I propose acknowledging the emerging role of a Situation Designer: one who creates virtual representations of real-world circumstances for training and simulation. I also highlight advancements in design technology like digital twins and machine learning model training for synthetic image data generation, with focus on parameterizing environmental and situational factors to create realistic virtual scenes.

Drawing parallels between Jurassic Park and a design-focused startup, I highlight the challenges faced when a founder is deeply involved. I outline scenarios hindering effective design sprints, such as founders lacking patience and being emotionally attached to their vision. I also include proposed solutions like: highlighting tangible deliverables and framing feedback as advice. We must emphasize recognizing positive founder qualities while ensuring their behavior doesn't derail design.
